Saltwater Taffy at Seven Arrows Literary Festival

Saltwater Taffy is honored to be part of the Seven Arrows Elementary Literary Festival happening this week in Pacific Palisades, California.  What is super cool about the visit is the author on stage right before me is none other than Alan Sitomer, California Teacher of the Year, who had this to say about Saltwater Taffy: “Pirate.  Adventure and Treasure!  Saltwater Taffy is a rockin’ good time!  Aarrgggghhhh!”

Saltwater Taffy has been endorsed by 12 Teachers of the Year around the country and will soon be on the big screen in 2014.  Shooting for this award-winning children’s book will begin August, 2013.  If you are looking for books for kids, stop looking and pick up Saltwater Taffy today and watch how your child begins to discover the joy of reading.  Saltwater Taffy takes the young reader on an epic treasure hunting adventure and is a cliff hanging story to hook young minds.

We believe every new book written for children is a new opportunity to teach them about growing up.  Saltwater Taffy helps tweens discover how amazing they are and how easy it is to be distracted by what other people think of you.

We are proud to announce that Saltwater Taffy has been named a Benjamin Franklin Book Award Finalist for our amazing cover by R.C. Nason.  Rob Nason is a veteran of Hollywood animation having worked on films like All Dogs Go To Heaven, Anastasia and Thumbelina.  The Benjamin Franklin Award is presented by the Independent Book Publisher’s Association.  The Awards Gala will be held on June 4, 2012 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York and kick off Book Expo America 2012.

Saltwater Taffy is an Children’s Adventure Book for children of all ages.  Endorsed by 12 Teacher’s of the Year around the country, Saltwater Taffy is a coming of age story for the entire family.
